Introduction- my thoughts

Asalamualaikum. This is my first day posting on my blog. I hope a lot of people out there will benefit from it insyaAllah. My intention is to help the Malaysian population use English correctly and at a higher level, specially among the Malays, who are still having this negative attitude and are complacent about using English, particularly the high school students.

I don't know how many times I've heard teachers complained that their students just will not use the language in class/ school, even during the English subject. In fact they have to go to the length of giving fines to students to encourage them to use the language. This is true everywhere, except maybe in KL.

My own children will not talk to me in English in front of their friends. This is typical. It's parents' and English fluency's greatest challenge - peer pressure. They're shy, afraid that their friends will make fun of them. For the life of me, I can never understand this. They are still not aware of the importance of English in the world.

So if you're an English teacher who needs someone to come and explain the importance of English to your students, I could help you with that.

Like I said in About me, the level of English taught at schools is very low. SPM students only know the vocabulary comparative to the fourth year American students. Even some teachers need help in improving their pronounciations. Parents, if you want your children to do well out there, take a note of it.

Bottom line, it doesn't matter if you have a Phd degree, but if you could'nt answer a simple question about Islam intelligently and proficiently in English to a non-muslim, then you've harmed the reputation of Islam and Muslims. Ok, further on my thoughts next time

About the service

English editing service is for graduate students or university professors who are writing thesis or research papers, and need help with the sentence structure and grammar, and overall English mechanics.

The speech class is opened for female students who live in Kulim or its vicinity. If you've just finished SPM/STPM/College, or are a working woman who wants to improve your English communication skills so you can perform better in school or workplace, then you should sign-up.
The class is conducted twice a week, in one and a half hour sessions.
